Boracay Island has once again proven that it’s one of the best destinations to travel to as this tiny Island placed 2nd in the Most Instagrammable Places for 2022 based on the survey result of Big 7 Travel.
The Global travel site Big 7 Travel has officially released the World’s Most Instagrammable Places 2022. Their annual hashtag tally, which is now in its 4th year, analysis cities that holds the most gram appeal.
For the years 2019 and 2020, Sydney took the top spot on the list of the world’s most Instagrammable destinations, while Japan was No. 1 for 2021.
Meanwhile, the Philippines, also known as the Pearl of the Orient, had shown that it is a place that’s worth visiting since the country has consistently been part of the list since 2019 when it ranked 43rd, then 36th in 2020.
Last year, the Philippines, home to incredible natural wonders, ranked 2nd place just behind Tokyo, Japan!
Now, out of all the cities and destinations in the Philippines, Boracay Island emerged as the winner, proving that the famous white beach has more to offer and still has a beauty that tourists never get bored of; with Singapore city place first place on the list.
Big 7 Travel chose the winners via a comprehensive scoring system that analyzed the number of hashtags per destination, sample survey results of Big 7 Media’s 1.5 million audiences, and from their global editorial team.
The final results are ranked in order of their visual allure and popularity on social media. Here are the top 10 Most Instagrammable Destinations 2022; (1) Singapore; (2) Boracay, Philippines; (3) Oahu, Hawaii; (4) Tokyo, Japan; (5) New York City, New York; (6) Banff, Canada; (7) Amalfi Coast, Italy; (8) Chicago, Illinois; (9) Lisbon, Portugal; and (10) Ha Long Bay, Vietnam.
