Mahigit 250,000 na deboto ni Señor Sto. Niño at Our Lady of Guadalupe de Cebu ang nakiisa sa Walk with Mary procession mula Fuente Osmeña hanggang sa Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu, noong Biyernes ng madaling araw, Enero 19, 2024, batay sa Cebu City Police Office.
Noong nakaraang taon, humigit-kumulang 400,000 ang dumalo sa penitential walk.
Sinabi ni Police Brigadier General Anthony Aberin, Regional Director ng Police Regional Office 7 sa isang pahayag nitong Biyernes, na mapayapa at matiwasay ang Walk with Mary ngayong taon.
“The religious undertaking was very solemn and peaceful. We did not encounter any problems with our security measures during the walk. With everyone committing to work together into one force, we can ensure a safe, solemn, and colorful Sinulog celebration,” saad ni PBGen Aberin.
