In a press statement sent by SAMBAYANAN or Sentrong Alyansa ng mga Mamamayan para sa Bayan to our viber community, Jeffrey “Ka Eric” Celiz pointed out that the Philippine National Police Navotas is right in confronting the communities which garnered high votes turn-out for KABAG (Kabataan, ACT Teachers, Bayan Muna, Anakpawis and Gabriela) Partylists.
Ka Eric said that there is no apparent error or mistake in the PNP-Navotas’ letter to a Barangay that aims to show the election results related to the so-called KABAG-KAMATAYAN PARTYLIST of the CPP-NPA-NDF.
He further elaborated the reasons below why the PNP-Navotas is right in requesting the profile of the sectoral organizations in the said barangay.
1. The Philippine National Police (PNP) as the primarily law enforcement agency that is in-charge under the law, to promote public safety, public order, and to support the national security functions of the state authority as well as to implement the rule of law, being the primary or principal law enforcement agency, among its component mandated functions is to conduct intelligence operations, intelligence activities as well as intelligence gathering related to the aforesaid functions and mandate of the organization of the PNP.
2. It is no less than the President of the Republic of the Philippines, His Excellency President Rodrigo Duterte, who is the Commander-in-Chief also of the entire organization of the PNP, who repeatedly identifies in several public announcements that the KABAG KAMATAYAN Partylist such as: Kabataan Partylist; Anakpawis; Bayan Muna; ACT Teachers and Gabriela — the so called “ MAKABAYAN BLOC”, are being identified by the President himself as CPP-NPA-NDF Front Organizations in the urban operations using their partylist groups as cover.
All of it, had been made by the President or the Commander-in-Chief of the PNP in several occasions publicly.
Therefore, the actions of the PNP are only related as a support activity thru the public declarations made by their Commander-in-Chief; and that there is nothing wrong about that; there is nothing irregular when the PNP as a law enforcement , public safety and public order implementor must conduct intelligence activities and because the Anti-Terrorism Council had already designated the CPP-NPA-NDF as terrorist organizations operating in the Philippines. The President again declares and identifies that these partylist organizations, the KABAG Kamatayan (MAKABAYAN BLOC) are CPP-NPA-NDF Front Organizations.
Therefore, intelligence and security related activities coming from the PNP related to those pronouncements and declarations as well as the designation of the Anti-Terrorism Council of aforesaid organizations as Terrorist Organizations– the CPP-NPA-NDF, are regular mandate and functions of the PNP.
3. Clearly, the intent of the CPP-NPA-NDF and their front operators and urban infiltrators like Arlene Brosas and Gabriela Partylist among others, are to discredit and undermine the integrity of the PNP as the principal law enforcement agency of the state as mandated by the Constitution.
The malicious intent of accusing the PNP and the Government entirely as doing ‘RED-TAGGING’ is an attempt on the part of Gabriela to cover-up the real color and nature of their organizations which is they are part of the entire spectrum of operations of the Communist Terrorist Groups, the CPP-NPA-NDF.
Moreover, the existence of these organizations are being identified as well by Jose Maria Sison ( JOMA SISON) in his previous public speech which had already circulated in the internet for quite a long time where Gabriela, ACT , League of Filipino Students, Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN), Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP), Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU), and many others are openly and publicly identified by Joma Sison as part of their so called “ “Open Democratic Forces in the Philippines” , which in translation they are the front organizations of the CPP-NPA-NDF. That is precisely the purpose why the PNP is conducting appropriate intelligence, security related monitoring and gathering of information because of this clear existence of facts pointing to the involvement of these organizations with the Communist Terrorist Groups; and we should not forget that Jose Maria Sison himself is a designated terrorist individual not only in the Philippines but at least by 10 other countries in the world.
And lastly, the basis of the PNP for conducting intelligence and security operations related to the information revealed by the President or the Commander-in-Chief, also include the judicial affidavits, testimonials and revelations made by former rebels and cadres of CPP-NPA-NDF who are directly and personally knowledgeable of the interlink operations of these front organizations such as Gabriela with the underground operations of CPP-NPA-NDF and their attempt to conduct terrorism and other related activities for the violent overthrow of the government.
Jeffrey “Ka Eric” Celiz concluded that the act of PNP-NAVOTAS should be commended instead, because the PNP and its inter-organization must do proper intelligence and security monitoring of those forces, individuals, and organizations that are having the history of subverting the authority of the state, sponsoring, promoting and advancing activities that contribute to the violent overthrow of our democratically established government.
He also emphasized that this kind of acts of the PNP should be supported not condemned.
