In a video message, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte backed Undersecretary Lorraine Marie Badoy in identifying KABAG Partylists as legal fronts of the CTG CPP NPA NDF.
The President said that personalities of these partylists know that he knows they are espousing an advocacy that in the end, will destroy the government.
PRRD spelled out KABAG partylists as follows:
              K – Kabataan
              A – Anakpawis
              B – Bayan Muna
              A – Alyansa of Concerned Teachers (Alliance of Concerned Teachers) or ACT
              G – Gabriela
It can be recalled that PRRD talked to high-ranking officials of the CPP NPA NDF last 2016 and even gave them a chance for a coalition government. The relationship ended in 2018 right after a series of NPA attacks to the government forces amidst an on-going peace negotiations. Duterte decided to terminate the peace negotiations and removed Rafael Mariano of Anakpawis, Judy Taguiwalo of ACT Teachers, and Liza Maza of Gabriela as secretaries of DAR, DSWD and NAPC respectively. ###
