Ibinahagi ng Samar First District Engineering Office na natapos na at pormal nang iginawad ang dalawang multi-purpose buildings (MPB) sa Bayan ng San Jorge at sa Lungsod ng Calbayog.
Ang nasabing proyekto na may kabuuang halaga na P9.74 million ay pinonduhan sa ilalim ng General Appropriations Act (GAA) for FY 2022.
“The P4.95-contract MPB in Brgy. West Awang has a floor area of 337.5 square meters with a 27-meter length of bleachers installed. On the other hand, another P4.79 million MPB is constructed in Barangay San Juan with a floor area of 253 square meters. The scope of work includes the installation of lamp lights within the court so that this structure can be used for events held during the night. The said MPB will function as a community-covered court.” ayon sa Samar First District Engineering Office nitong Hunyo 28 2023.
Inaasahang malaking tulong ang naturang pasilidad sa ilang mga gawain sa barangay kung saan nagsisilbi itong venue para sa mga pagpupulong, medical missions, sports activities at evacuation centers.
