Canigao Island Paradise is located in Matalom, Leyte, Philippines.
Canigao Island is uninhabited, with only a lighthouse as its most notable man-made structure. The beaches have white sand, and the surrounding waters are home to tropical sea creatures and an extensive coral reef. The climate is tropical, as it is in other parts of the Philippine islands. These natural features frequently attract tourists and scuba divers who travel to the island from Matalom.
The western and northern parts of Canigao island have been designated as nature preserves. As a result, activities such as swimming, diving, fishing, snorkeling, and boating are prohibited in protected areas.
