Anakpawis Partylist 4th Nominee and PSRTG listed 4th Quarter 2021, under EXECOM, Komiteng Rehiyon-Cagayan Valley (KR-CV) as member of the Regional White Area Committee 2 (RWAC2) / Kilusan sa Lungsod at Sentrong Bayan (KLSB) finally fell into authorities’ hands yesterday in an intel-driven operation in Barangay Luyang, Bayombong, Nueva Viscaya.
Isabelo Adviento, 57, of Purok 3, Barangay Carupian, Baggao, Cagayan, was arrested on the basis of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition (RA 10591, Covers RA 9516, RA 8294, and PD1866) issued by Pablo Manuel Agustin, Presiding Judge, RTC, 2nd Judicial Region, Branch 10, Tuguegarao City; with Criminal Case No. 22161 dated June 17, 2021 with no bail bond recommended.
Adviento is also the Chairperson of DANGGAYAN Cagayan Valley and the Regional Coordinator of Anakpawis.
Ivylyn Corpin alias Ka Red mentioned during the press conference of NTF ELCAC on March 28, 2022 the town of Baggao, Cagayan as one of their areas when she was still the Guerilla Front Secretary of Henry Abraham Command. She also said that the populace of their areas are obliged to vote for KABAG Partylists (Kabataan, ANAKPAWIS, Bayan Muna, Act Teachers and Gabriela). Also, she shared to the press, that the campaign machinery of these partylists are actually NPA members of their Guerilla Front.
Police Brigadier General Steve Ludan, PRO2 Regional Director, praised the Valley Cops and partner line agencies for their efforts in apprehending Adviento. RD Ludan also emphasized that PRO2’s campaign against loose firearms will be constantly stepped up in relation to the PNP’s anti-insurgency and anti-terrorism initiatives.
Furthermore, officers and personnel from the Regional Intelligence Division, PRO2 (Lead Unit); National Intelligence Coordinating Agency 2; Bayombong PS; PIU Nueva Vizcaya PPO; PIU Isabela PPO; PIU Cagayan PPO; RMFB2; 1st PMFC, Nueva Vizcaya; 1st PMFC Cagayan, Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit 2; Regional Intelligence Unit 2; 5th Military Intelligence Brigade, 52nd Military Intelligence Company and 51st Military Intelligence Company are behind this successful operation.
The accused is currently in the custody of the Bayombong Police Station. ###
